Unpleasant stay at Eagles Landing, name now changed to Buenos Manor

Quite and peaceful environment

− 1) Front yard gate had no lock. 2) The front sliding gate was faulty and did not lock at times. 3) Back gate could not lock. 4) Microwave and Fridge was not very clean 5) Counter tops and bar table was dusty. 6) Oven was used and left uncleaned.. 7) Not enough cutlery & utensils for 4 people.. 8) No dishcloths, dirty washing sponge and inadequate washing liquid. 9) Sqeaky toilet door. 10) Only one stove plate worked. 11) No ligher / matches to ignite the gas stove during load shedding. 12) No microwave food cover 13) No solar energy backup / inverter during loadshedding as was advertised. Only 1 solar light. 14) Toilet/bathroom door has glass upper with no tint or cover for privacy. We had to hang a bath towel behind the door 15) Interruption in wifi since day 1. Was only resolved on day 3 16) We were asked to pay an additional R100 if we needed to use the gas braai. 17) We stayed there for six nights without any change of bedding or towels. 18) No televisions in the bedrooms as advertised . 19) The main bedroom door does not lock. 20) Poor lighting in the kitchen. 21) Only 1 solar light indoors; in the lounge which did not provide enough light. 22) Faulty plug points. 23) Awkward use of the corded kettle. 24) No dining table for eating. 25) Unhappy with the owners reaction and feedback to our complaints during our stay. 26) Unhappy with bookings.com for not verifying facilities and utilities advertised.

The Host Kelvin , was very accommodating, always checking up on me, to ensure i had a comfortable stay, the apartment is neat , well kept and very comfortable, it is definitely my home away from home, Thank you Kelvin - Zakiya Ally

− Being canceled by the host last minutes, leaving me stranded and not even trying to help me get my refund

The host had to clean the unit and change the bed linen then we enjoyed our stay.

The location of this property is safe and secure making you feel at ease. The host is helpful and accommodating making sure they you enjoy your stay. The beds are so comfortable you won’t want to leave them.

My stay was awesome, my children enjoy every moment of it even though there was no swimming.

The location was secured and house was very comforting. My children really enjoyed the stay and wish to re-visit again. The host was also welcoming, friendly and made sure that he assist when needed.

− The housekeeping was not up to standard, but the host apologized and promised to improve on that matter.
