9.0Comfortable place to stay, and done up nicely with little quirks. Host was in touch and prompt at responding.
− There is no dishwasher or microwave at the property. If these are added, the kitchen would be great. There is also no heating which was a bit uncomfortable as we went in winter.

Simple home on a hill overlooking Guanajuato was fine for our group’s stay.
8.0Convenient location: Although the walk down to town is fairly steep it is quick and a taxi back up to the property is cheap at about $3. Nice view of the city from the terrace.
− The owners could provide a couple of more basic items: e.g., bottled water, extra toilet paper. Also, it would be helpful to include a short welcome note pointing out things like nearby shopping (e.g., the nearby Oxxo), recommended restaurants, etc. Also, hot water for showers was in short supply. While we don’t like to waste water in water-short Mexico, showers have to be quick before the water starts running cold.
