10.0Lovely to experience the underground living even if it was only a couple of nights. We both had the best sleep for ages. The views are stunning and the host is very friendly and informative about the area.
− Not easy to find once the sun goes down. Phone signal went over an hour before we got to Coober Pedy so we were unable to access the instructions on booking.com.
Loved our stay at Gems. Will visit again

10.0This property is fabulous and Dean (The Property Manager) went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. His advice on everything was so helpful. The property is really large and so unique. I loved the drive to and from the property and felt as though we were so far away from the town, yet we were so close. I have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic place.

10.0Dean ist ein sehr liebenswürdiger Gastgeber. Er hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt und viele nützliche Hinweise für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Die ganze Wohnung war tipptopp sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Bad mit Waschmaschine grosszügig und praktisch. Die ganze Wohnung ist riesig gross - insgesamt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, einmal in einem typischen Dugout ein paar Nächte zu verbringen: Totale Ruhe, angenehme konstante Temperatur und draussen eine surreale Atmosphäre inmitten einer Mondlandschaft-ähnlichen Umgebung. Nachts umwerfender Sternenhimmel, coole Fotosujets von ausgedienten Bergwerkfahrzeugen im Abendlicht vor Sonnenaufgang.
Great little underground gem
10.0What an amazing place! Dean welcomed us in with lots of information about the place and the town. He gave us lots of recommendations of where to go and we followed all his advice. Eating on the patio was a great experience, watching the finches nest building and staying shaded from the 42° heat. Sleeping in the pitch black and silence was a nice experience for us city dwellers. Communication prior to arrival with Eva was great too.
