Home away from Home near Cypress Hills
9.0This place has everything! Food, coffee, tee, toiletries, toothbrushes, shaving razors, cleaning supplies, all utensils you can think of, plenty of towels, mobile A/C in one bedroom, and two fans. Netflix, hello!!! Travel brochures, drawing set for kids. Parking is just below the entrance, so you can check your vehicle anytime. The pictures on the Booking.com are very realistic, and detailed. It is also in the middle of the town, walking distance from farmer's market, local brewery, and stores on the main street (Jasper St.), with easy access to Cypress Hills and Highway 1. A lot of though has been put by the host in identifying every possible need a guest may have. I think the unit is surrounded by business properties, so the noise from surrounding units could be heard only during the day. Nights were super quiet.
− There was no information about how to connect to wi-fi. To be fair, I could have asked - the host was responsive online. Everything was spotless clean, except the floor. I felt little crumbs under my bare feet. I didn't see a vacuum cleaner, otherwise I would have vacuumed myself - the place really feels like home away from home. This last one is less of critique, more of caveat for travellers with mobility issues. There is a flight of stairs that needs to be climbed to reach the condo. It is mentioned in the property description on Booking.com that the condo is not accessible, but people sometimes do not read the details.
The accommodations were very clean beds were great, the apartment was well stocked with supplies.

All cabins are fully booked in Cypress hills so we decided to stay in this place and zero regrets.

10.0We had a wonderful stay at Sun Dog Manor! It felt very cozy and welcoming upon arrival, and there was plenty of space for my family. The muffins, fruit, and ingredients for breakfast were so appreciated! The kitchen was well- stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The whole place was clean and in great condition.
