3.0La Ceiba del Mar was within Residential La Ceiba which is a lovely condominium complex close to the beach.
− La Ceiba del Mar was not truthfuly or accurately represented on Booking.com. Many of the amenities listed were not there and it also stated as having courtyard, garden and pool view which was false!! The coffee maker was unusable. When we contacted the manager (who is the owner) about this we had no response until the day before checkout at which was the same time she told us we were supposed to be checking out which was false as we had confirmation and had paid to the next day. It's never good to accuse your guests without getting the facts first. Also the stated "well-equipped kitchen" was minimal with dirty utensil trays, dull knives and disgustingly filthy cutting boards, no wine glasses, no dishtowels or paper towel. Other amenities listed not there were: no hammock, no BBQ and the SDB (safe) was not working.
A great home away from home for a relaxing beach vacation.
9.0Great location within walking distance to the beach and various restaurants. The pool and entire property was immaculately maintained. The owner was very helpful and promptly answered any questions we had before and during our stay.
− It isn’t really a dislike, but just be aware the property is at the very back of the property and on the third floor so it’s a bit of a hike to load/unload suitcases, coolers, etc.

Great place to stay!
10.0The host was very kind and helpful. I was ill while there and she helped me get great medical care. She made sure everything was great for us. The unit was so comfortable and everything you need. The rooms are huge and appliances including washer/dryer, easy for a family or three couples. The beach is a short walk and you could hear the waves from the unit. The pool was beautiful with lots of chaises some shaded. We were there for a week and it exceeded expectations. Although we rented a car I would not recommend it as shuttles are a minute away and come every few minutes and taxis were cheap.
− The only thing to note is there is no hair dryer
