10.0From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful stay. Peter and Kay were so friendly, welcoming us on arrival, providing local guidance, even making us a friendly cup of tea in the evening and lending us margarine when we asked. The apartment is lovely - well-appointed, spotless, very comfortable (beds, sofas, chairs everything) and light. So much attention to detail - floor-level lights with presence detectors so you can easily cross the living room in the night without turning the lights on, a spare phone charger in the drawer, tea and coffee provided... The location is gorgeous - a beautiful valley with lovely walking opportunities, but also close to Llangollen and Chirk. Overall an amazing stay, thank you!

10.0We really enjoyed the fire pit area. Spending the evenings surrounded by the sound of the trees and the crackling fire felt truly magical. The accommodation had everything we could possibly need, from phone chargers to hair conditioner. The pool table, foosball table, and darts were a great way to spend time between our trips and walks. It is also an excellent base for exploring many beautiful hiking trails in the area. On our last day, the hosts showed us a viewpoint not far from their home where we could admire the entire valley. It was a lovely walk and a perfect way to end our stay. We hope to return one day and would happily recommend this place to others.
