Das Haus ist in perfekter Lage. Gleich unterhalb des Hauses gibt es einen Seezugang, der Ort ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist sehr bemüht, die Ausstattung der Wohnung sehr gut. Wer den Charme eines alten Hauses schätzt, wird sich in der Villa Helena sehr wohl fühlen.

We loved the location and features of this charming 130 year old property

A 130 year old property with bags of character situated in a prime lakeside position and boasting a single first floor apartment. It was very spacious and despite the age had everything you would need for a comfortable holiday plus beautiful floorboards with rugs here and there. Particular highlights were the front balcony and the solarium, located on the shaded side of the property with a lovely view of the upper part of the lake. It's about a 15min walk to St Gilgen centre and the main bus station and cable car. A further 5 minutes away is a large supermarket. The location is very quiet, even though the main road is not very far away. You are right opposite a small access point where you can swim in the lake. FYI was not an issue for us but the second bedroom is accessed via the first one (unless you wish to exit onto the common landing on the main stairway and re-enter the apartment from the stairs into the apartment hallway). Many internal doors do not close easily / at all but the important ones have working locks.

A short walk into town but still a nice location with water and mountain views Host is lovely and allowed us to check out late at no extra charge This old home is full of charm, with lots of original fixtures Everything was in working order

− This is an old home. While everything worked fine, if you're not a fan of creaky, uneven floors and doors, etc, this place isn't for you. We found it charming. Host has a dog, which was not a problem for us but could be for some. We never saw the dog, but it would occasionally bark as we entered or left the house.

Time Authentic apartment from the late 1800s early 1900s I. Love it. Good location in relation to Sankt Gilgen where you could be in the center on foot within 12 minutes. Very quiet and good location away from the very busy city center. Closed conservatory and balcony with a magnificent view of Sankt Wolgang lake. Exquisite location.

Die tolle Lage direkt am See. Zum Schwimmen muss man nur eine kleine ruhige Straße und einen Fußweg überqueren und schon kann man dort schwimmen, wo nur wenige Leute sind. Der Blick vom Balkon.ist wunderbar.
