6.0− Dear Host, I am writing to raise a concern about the condition of the kettle in the apartment we rented during our recent stay. We stayed in the apartment for three days. we noticed that the boiling water had a slightly unusual taste, but we initially assumed it might be related to the local water quality in Port Lincoln. Unfortunately, one member of our group experienced mild diarrhea during this time. On the last day of our stay, we discovered that the kettle was extremely dirty. The bottom of the kettle was covered with a significant amount of white residue, which was quite unpleasant and concerning. It appeared that the kettle had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Given that guests rely on basic kitchen appliances for safe drinking water, we find this situation unacceptable. We kindly ask that you investigate this issue and ensure that all appliances, especially those used for food and drink preparation, are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained for future guests.
