The location was excellent for a quick weekend break from Gauteng. The hosts were superb and even though it is self check-in, they were present to ensure we were settled in and had everything we needed. Everything was as described and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace.

Unique but mosquitoes

8.0

Fun styling with modern open plan layout with a rustic tone. Set up against the trees with lots of birdlife.

The artificial ponds are a big mosquito breeding ground and the rooms are swimming in them - bring a can of doom. The pillows are weird - bring your own. Hot water was not working, so they let me shower in a different unit. Just note on Friday nights there is a bar not too far away so you will hear music - it's not bad, but not 100% quiet.

The open space. The quietness, the fresh air, we love it.

Quiet Escape

9.0

Fellt like a true escape, quiet, rustic, and full of calm. The hosts were amazing, and everything from arrival to check-in flowed effortlessly. I’d absolutely come back, and next time I’d stay a little longer to soak it all in.

There were a few small things that could be improved, like the condition of the curtains and the cleanliness of the windows. But honestly, the overall experience still felt special.
