Lovely stay in a beautiful area
8.0The farm location was quiet, picturesque and interesting. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The surrounding area Including Kirkcudbright was great. We really enjoyed the seafood, the town shops and galleries, harbourside and surrounding beaches. The accommodation was good overall but perhaps a little dated. The bed was very comfortable.
− As mentioned by others stairs are a challenge. Everything is a little dated but perfectly adequate.

10.0The family were extremely hospitable and were a joy to meet, making us feel very comfortable and relaxed from the outset. The location is great and the surroundings are lovely. We were cycling in the area and loved the routes we were able to do from the farm during our three days there. We enjoyed the animals milling about the yard including the dogs (both working and non working), lambs and chickens. We were encouraged to walk around the farm and its various trails which we really enjoyed in the evenings . The cheese loft is very well appointed and had everything we needed. It has an extremely comfortable super king bed, great shower and good kitchen facilities. The eggs were a welcome addition. Highly recommend and would definitely return. We were only sorry we had not booked for longer.
