A true YES - BUT hotel
1.0− Finding a good hotel on the island is already difficult, and this place is no exception. The view is absolutely stunning… but the moment you look down, you’re greeted by ugly rooftops. Step onto the balcony and turn your head, and you’ll be looking directly at the neighboring building’s cracked balcony wall. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the host thoughtfully leaves cookies and a bottle of rakı as a welcome gift. It seems like a very kind gesture—until you notice huge cockroaches crawling among the plates and glasses. According to the host, this was an exception. But honestly, I don’t understand how. There are insects everywhere on the island, the gap under the room door opens directly to the street, and no preventive measures seem to have been taken. Maybe people who don’t mind living with cockroaches have stayed here before, but I got tired of constantly seeing insects and spiders around me. When I informed the host, they replied quickly and said they would take care of it the next day. I appreciate the prompt response, but after spending the entire night trying to kill cockroaches and checking every corner every time I entered the room to make sure nothing was crawling around, I’m sorry, but I can’t be as understanding. Every window has shutters, mosquito screens, and glass doors. However, the balcony doors would not lock properly. Even if you think they’re locked, make sure you double-check—they probably aren’t. If you’re okay with all of this—and that’s ultimately a matter of personal standards—the room itself is spacious and comfortable. And finally, the hotel’s cat is absolutely wonderful. The one star I’m giving goes entirely to the cat.

− We had a bad smell in the bathroom but I would think this is an isolated issue as a super clean apartment & proactive hosts.

10.0We werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. Het appartement is ruim en gezellig gedecoreerd. De locatie is fantastisch. Vanaf het balkon heb je prachtig zicht op de haven en boulevard.
