Die Ferienwohnung war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und bemüht.

− Die Terrasse war leider nicht benutzbar und die Terrassentür war defekt.

A very comfortable rustic apartment, in a quiet residential area, with a very welcoming Host.

The apartment is a lovely rustic wooden beamed flat, on the floor above the Host's residence. There is a communal lobby area, which leads upstairs to a fully lockable self-contained flat. The whole building is set in a quiet residential neighbourhood, opposite a tree-lined open space. The flat was spacious, with two large double beds (in separate bedrooms), a big comfortable sofa in the living area, a full kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, sink), and two dining table areas. There was also a great terrace with table and chairs, overlooking the gardens and nearby rooftops, where we ate our evening meals on the hot days. The host was a very friendly and welcoming woman, though alas she didn't speak any English, and we only knew very basic German, so most communication was via gestures, or the Booking.Com messaging app (which thankfully automatically translates all messages to the relevant language). She made it clear that guests are welcome to use almost all of the her own pretty garden, where there is a large fish pond, a tortoise area, chairs and tables. There is also free use of a washer/dryer machine in a building in the garden. Parking is off the road out the front of the house, close to a quiet road. The property is 20 minutes walk from the nearest two stations - there are buses that can take you part of the way, but they are very infrequent, sometimes only every two hours! The train (S1, or S8) is then 30 minutes ride into central Berlin - the zone is Berlin C. There are two supermarkets on the walking route from the station Hohen Neuendorf, which also have car parks.

− Nothing, apart from the lack of buses - the apartment was really comfortable, well equipped, and quiet.

You have access to the entire 2nd floor apartment with a balcony, furnished with table, chairs and umbrella,off one bedroom. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and a beautiful view of the back yard.. There is a large koi pond and resident tortoise in the back yard. At the back of the property is a small building with access to a combo washer/dryer. Our host was most gracious and attends to any needs you may have. We were all pleasantly surprised at how much we loved staying here and would definitely consider staying here again if ever back in the area!
