9.0Aardige gastheer en -vrouw, wilden alles wel voor ons doen. Ruim appartement, wij hadden een appartement voor 4 personen inclusief keukenblok. Appartement was heel netjes en de alles wat je nodig had, was er. Kosten van het zwembad komen er nog wel bij

Ruim appartement, maar met achterstallig onderhoud.
7.0Het was een ruim appartement, met woonkamer keuken, badkamer en slaapkamer. Ook was er nog een klein zitje. De keuken had een koelkast. We hadden uitzicht op de Etna. Bij de ingang waren tuindeuren die open gingen via een telefoonnummer, heel handig.
− De hygiene viel ons wat tegen. Met name de badkamer had schoner kunnen zijn. Er waren maar beperkt spullen aanwezig in de keuken. Er was bijvoorbeeld alleen wat plastic bestek. Ook was er geen krukkentrekker aanwezig. Ik weet zeker dat Giuseppe ons daarmee geholpen had, maar je wil niet om alles vragen bij de host. Er was ook geen droogdoek voor de afwas. Dit is gemakkelijk op te lossen. De douchecel vonden wij klein en er was kalkaanslag, ook dat is gemakkelijk op te lossen. In de kamer was ervoor ook gerookt, nadat we de kamer gelucht hadden hadden we daar geen last meer van. We keken vanuit de kamer uit richting de Etna, maar wel met een slecht onderhouden stenen parkeerterrein, met overal onkruid, met veel plastic afval van oude strandstoelen en met zicht op 5 klikobakken. Giuseppe, dit kan veel mooier! Het mooie zwembad is ongeveer 50 meter verderop. Daarvoor werd een extra bijdrage gevraagd van 40 euro, want dat hadden we er niet bijgeboekt. Daar zagen we vanaf. Giuseppe nodigde ons uit de eerste dag (zonder kosten), we hebben heerlijk gezwommen. Later heeft hij ons nogmaals uitgenodigd, maar toen hadden wij andere plannen. De foto's op Booking zijn gemaakt om optimale sfeer te tonen, maar week voor ons wel af van de werkelijkheid. De plek heeft echt potentie, maar kan nog zoveel mooier gemaakt worden. Zorg voor wat meer groen op een parkeerterrein, en voor bij het appartement. Zorg voor een meer opgeruimde omgeving. En ik denk dat het goed zou zijn om het zwembad gewoon standaard op te nemen in de boekingskosten.
