A Complete Disaster – Do Not Fall Into This Trap! (Family Vacation Ruined)

Location is near to Venice. Capacity is enough for small family. Kitchen is well equipped.

− We chose this apartment for a family vacation in Italy because of its beautiful location and proximity to Venice. However, staying here was an absolute nightmare that made the trip incredibly difficult and exhausting, especially for the children. ### 🤢 Mold and Foul Odor The entire building is ancient and neglected. The moment you step into the apartment, you are hit with a **foul, overpowering smell of mold**. Black mold and dampness are spread all over the walls, particularly in the bathroom. This place is a health hazard, especially for families with kids! ### 🪑 Outdated Furniture and Useless Windows The furniture is extremely old and dilapidated to the point of being unusable; the wardrobes were completely broken down. The windows are ancient and offer zero insulation—they block neither the street noise nor the outside heat, making it feel as if we were sleeping right on the sidewalk. ### 🥵 The AC Deception and Suffocating Heat The host explicitly advertised the apartment as "air-conditioned," which is nothing but a cheap scam. There is **only one single AC unit located in the small living room**. It is ancient, barely functions, and has zero efficiency. As a result, the bedrooms were like ovens—stiflingly hot and completely unfit for sleeping in high temperatures. The kids suffered immensely. ### 🚗 Parking Nightmare and Struggling with Kids We were forced to park in the nearest available lot, which was a **15-minute walk away**! Dragging luggage and walking this distance with young children in unpredictable weather conditions was pure misery every single day. ### 💵 Hidden Fees and Sketchy Cash Demands The peak of unprofessionalism and greed: no additional fees were disclosed on the booking platform. After our reservation was confirmed, the host blindsided us by demanding **extra fees to be paid strictly in cash**, and flat-out refused to provide any receipts. This is highly suspicious and unprofessional.

The host had excellent instructions about parking and entry into the building. We used a code to enter the building and the apartment. The apartment was perfect for our needs, despite a heat wave ongoing when we arrived. The host did his best to ensure the living room's A/C unit was working properly. The location couldn't have been better and the host was very responsive to my questions. Loved the proximity to sights, dining, and coffee in the morning. We'd stay here again, but hopefully in cooler months.

− We parked several blocks away from the apartment, so had to bring our luggage quite a distance. The host offered to get us a pass so we could drop off the luggage closer, but the rollers handled the sidewalks and parking area just fine. A/C was effective just in the main living area, not the bedrooms.

Spacious 2 room flat in the center of Treviso. Close to the station ( a 10 minutes walk), next to the Opera Theatre and all the bars and shops you may wish to visit. Treviso is very elegant as well as its people. The Osterias are just great. Amazing food and winery. The access to the apartment is very easy and is spotless clean. Nothing is missing and there is also an Alexa / Siri I forgot which, to keep you entertained. We thank the Owner for the welcoming approach and for immediate responses to our small requests such as raising the temp in the flat( we were there in mid Feb) and we will be back for sure. Venice is at a short train ride which makes Treviso a great base point. However the city itself is walkable and very nice, romantic we would add.

The Apartment was in a fantastic location minutes walk from the main sights and shopping. Simple instruction on entering and the host was more than accommodating. We will 100% be rebooting this for future trips

Posizione e tranquillità della struttura, nonché l'architettura stessa antica e suggestiva. Il Sig. Francesco, gestore di Palazzo Bianchetti, è sempre stato molto disponibile.

− Il bagno principale vecchio e la doccia assolutamente poco funzionale. In generale la struttura era bella ma il bagno ha la sua importantza.
