Clean, central and efficient to Amalfi port. Listing is not completely transparent.

The condo was extremely central. We got picked up by the host in person and it was literally in the 1st street after the harbour. From the balcony there’s even a little view to the ocean from afar. Amenities were sufficient and we appreciated the AC during the heat in June.

− The host told us not to use the 2nd bed which was in the same room and also shown in the listing although we had booked the apartment especially for two separate beds. We were told we’d have to pay extra for laundering if we were to use it since it was saved for the next guests. Considering we’ve paid for a x2 bed accommodation this effectively changes the condo’s rate and we felt it was inconsiderate since we could have booked a single bed condo for a lower rate instead. You’ll loose the transparency since it was not mentioned like this in the listing

Da localização, a poucos passos do porto e da paragem de autocarros e da praça central. A casa tinha as comodidades necessárias para uns dias de férias, camas muito confortáveis e um duche fantástico.

− A zona é um pouco barulhenta e houve em noites em q de madrugada se ouviu música alta de um bar ao fundo da rua. Depois de termos deixado o apartamento e do anfitrião no local ter dito que não pretendia confirmar se estava tudo ok antes de sairmos, recebemos uma mensagem a dizer que nos iam cobrar o desaparecimento de 2 toalhas, quando nem sabíamos quantas estavam na casa (eram muitas efetivamente, pois éramos 5) e ninguém quis confirmar connosco no local. Apesar de a situação se ter resolvido, foi muito desagradável e algo pelo qual nunca passamos em tantos anos de alojamento. As pessoas inicialmente preferiram acusar os hóspedes de "roubo" do q pensar q poderia ter sido um erro de quem preparou a casa, sobretudo quando à distância não termos forma de comprovar a nossa inocência. Posto isto, não deixem de reservar este alojamento mas não saiam do local sem q o anfitrião confirme que nada está em falta.

Great place to stay if you want to experience a bit of traditional Italian lodging. The place is traditional with a kitchen and lounge. Very quiet, for a great nights sleep.

Michelle, the host, was so welcoming and made sure we had all the information we needed. They really paid attention to detail – things like providing toothbrushes and even his own coffee! The accommodation was right next to the main centre which was about a 30 second walk away and the beach that was 1 minute walk away, which was perfect. The place stayed cool even without aircon on during the day and at night it was still quiet.

Location excellent and the property was immaculate - a real home from home. So spacious and Michele and his wife have thought of everything - so well equipped and Michele was super helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough

− Nothing - but it is a big climb up from the square - about 90 steps which was not easy with luggage - but worth it when you arrived.
