Lovely apartment. Very difficult to get to in May & June 2026.

− The location is very poor in my opinion and experience: I hadn’t appreciated quite how difficult this apartment was to reach; firstly by car to the closest car park (which had only one available space. So - good luck!) and secondly by foot from the car park to the apartment with luggage. There were so many roadworks and closed roads in Carrara and Google maps rerouted so many times that the only option left towards the car park was to drive through the ZTL (which of course is prohibited). Roadworks due to be completed end June 2026. Secondly, from the car park to the apartment are a significant number of steps which is awkward with heavy suitcases. Thirdly, the steps are very slippery when wet. Fourthly, the walking route passes obscene graffiti, the strong smell of urine and shady characters. None of the above is within the control of the host but nevertheless had I known of these issues I would have chosen different accommodation.
