Apartment was clean and spacious. It had everything we required for a few nights stay including a terrace. Great location and easy to get into town. Communication with Carlo was excellent and he gave us great tips on where to eat. He booked us taxis for our arrival and departure.

The apartment is really as it is on the pictures. It is a great price for value with a very unique interior, and a very well-equipped kitchen.

− There was a little bit of weird smell in the living room, but I think it's normal in such buildings on the ground floor.

Very tastefully designed interior, blending rich Sicilian tradition with modern comfort. Vintage furniture and modern art from local artists create a unique atmosphere. Effective heating during the winter months. Bed was large and very comfortable. Dishwasher available. Central location. It was never a problem to find a parking space nearby. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

− A bit more light in the bathroom and at the bedside would be great.

We enjoyed our 6-night stay in the Nicotera Apartment. The apartment was artistically decorated with a fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you might need, a large bedroom with fine linens and ambient lighting as well as an upstairs living room and terrace that was an added bonus. Street parking was readily available in front of the apartment which was also great. The highlight of our stay though was experiencing life as a local, away from the tourist areas. We savored walking next door every morning for a cappuccino and homemade pastry form Pietro's bakery as well as to the neighborhood square in the evening to feast on freshly caught fish grilled (amazing!) to order and the creamiest gelato. Another well patronized bakery and convenience store were also located a few blocks away as was Aria Terrace for amazing aperitivo and sunsets. It would be beneficial to guests if the owners were to recommend and promote their neighboring businesses as well as provide restaurant recommendations and other tips for exploring Noto. We received none and felt the hospitality and communications with the owners to be lacking and untimely, in general.

− The apartment was located above the historic center and as such, it was a bit of a hike up and down long stairwells and hills to reach both, which might be challenging for some. The drive and maneuvering in the narrow and winding streets of Noto to reach the apartment or to leave town was definitely challenging. We also found the streets and sidewalks around the apartment to be dirty and littered with pigeon and dog droppings as well as cigarette butts (unusual for Sicily).
