Monte Cervino apartment AS4♡

The apartment was cheap but basic. It was functional, but definitely had some issues.

Apartment was close to the slopes and there was a lock on the ski locker. It was handy that they left out bin bags, dishwasher tabs, salt and pepper.

− We asked for early check in but they actually wouldn’t let us in to the apartment until 45 minutes after the advertised time. The dishwasher wasn’t working. The boiler wasn’t turned on when we arrived so we didn’t have hot water for the first day. The bathroom flooded (just a little but every time we showered) The apartment only had 3kw of power, so you couldn’t have the boiler, the oven and the hob on at the same time. There was only one unbroken wine glass in the apartment.

Great VFM, ski out of right back next to the property

Key collection was very easy and staff very helpful when I couldn't work out how to turn on hot water and heating. It would have been useful if they had printed these details out as they'd obviously been asked before. Key drop-off out of hours is possible. Plenty of free parking just above the apartments but do bring a snow shovel to clear a space. You can ski to door and to get downtown in the evening there's a short-cut via the piste. Apartment is a good size (other than sofa-bedroom) and beds are comfortable. All the restaurants, bars and supermarket are downtown so at least there's no noise pollution. Ski lockers in basement.

− Living room floor very scuffed. Using 2 of the 4 electric hobs at same time would trip the breakers. Power-cuts in high winds. Hot water ran cold after bath reached 12cm and took several hours to reheat so be prepared to share the bath water! Bath is also very small. No other facilities like sauna, gym, pool.

It was great. We all enjoyed it very much.

Large apartment with views close to main ski lift

Great apartment on the 3rd floor. 5 minutes walk to main ski lift. Apartment was large and very clean. Basic equipment but comfortable. Windows with nice views. Kitchen was well equipped. Cafe machine was a plus.

− Shower is not good. It does have bath with the curtain which sticks to you while showering. Water was leaking to the floor so constant mopping is required after use. Not a big deal but annoying. Kitchen is very small. Only one person can fit in. One of 3 bedrooms is vary small. It is more like a bedroom for the child. Beds could be more comfortable but ok.

Proximity to ski slope is good, only 40/50m from boot room to 3bis ski run.. Staff on arrival are great

− Beds are uncomfortable, all of us slept poorly in the week. On arrival no toilet paper is available, self catering I understand...but a toilet paper would have been appreciated. The boot room is cold and wet, there is no heater for boots in the basement, so U have to keep your boots in the apartment next to radiators
