− Schimmelbefall im Badezimmer so das es überall modrig roch. Der Vermieter versuchte noch mittels Chlorbehandlung das Problem in den Griff zu bekommen aber nach 2 Tagen war der Chlorgeruch verflogen und der modrige Gerich wieder da. Das „Studio“ ist eine ehem. Kellerräumlichkeit…und eine Fehlkonstruktion obendrein. Die feuchte Abluft wird nicht nach draußen abgeleitet, sondern hinter eine eingebaute Trockenbauwand. Der Abstellraum dahinter ist massiv von Schimmel befallen. Das Kopfende des Bettes ist direkt an der Zugangstür zu dieser Schimmelbude - welche zwar versperrt ist - aber eben nicht luftdicht. Dadurch war mit unserem Kleinkind kein zumutbarer Zustand und wir verließen das Haus nach 3 Nöchten. Bezahlt haben wir die 9 Nächte im voraus und haben bis heute nicht zurückbekommen.

Our stay from hell in an isolated garage!

The room itself is cozy and has the feeling of a home. Unfortunately, thats all that was good about it.

− Our stay at this property was nothing short of a nightmare: Property - Darkness prevailed in our room, which was essentially a grim garage with no trace of sunlight. Our visual evidence tells the grim tale, with cars parked right in front of our door, a far cry from what we expected. To make matters worse, there was no phone service, an inconvenient fact the host conveniently kept hidden. The promised WiFi proved to be a cruel joke, struggling to reach a feeble 20Mb during our agonizing 7-day stay, the absolute lack of service made the use of our mobile data also an impossibility. The neighbors seemed to have an uncanny ability to create chaos around the clock, with a kindergarten and a church as bonus features - children's screams and hourly church bells ringing were part of the package. Ants seemed to have declared a hostile takeover of our room, invading every nook and cranny, including our bed and pillows. The audacity of charging 10€ per hour for cleaning was matched only by the lack of fresh towels during our 7-night stay, suggesting we wash them ourselves, with the added cost if we dared to use the washing machine more than once. As for the property's location, it's a blatant lie. It is not in San Miniato, but a village called Stibbio, the closest Lidl is 5km away by car, and there's absolutely nothing in the vicinity - no shops, bars, or restaurants within a walkable distance, leaving you in isolation. Host - Initially responsive, the host abruptly turned into a ghost, leaving our WhatsApp messages on “seen”. To add insult to injury, he and his family decided to intentionally disrupt our peace at 7:30 AM on a Sunday by having a singing contest with the vacuum cleaner and his children, seemingly to force us out sooner. It was the final straw in an utterly appalling experience.
