A mistake
5.0There was a beehive on our deck, so we couldn’t use the porch. They were spraying during our stay, and there were dead bees all over the floor and stairway, that we had to clean up. Two of us were stung, one badly, and it got infected. Luckily, there was a free medical clinic nearby that took care of her and got her antibiotics. There was minimal water pressure, and one morning we woke up to no water at all, no shower, none in the kitchen. We should have asked for our money back and found another place, but we were too tired from travel. I love Chacala and wanted to enjoy the beach and ocean.

We were very sad to leave. Chacala is super nice and relaxing place to be even with family with two small kids.
8.0Large 2 bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen and beautiful rooftop patio with nice views. Pool is located cross the street and it is shared with more apartments. Everything (laundry, beach, store) is super close and convenient.
− There was no hot (just warm) water and stream from the kitchen faucet was pretty weak to properly clean the dishes. We never had warm shower during our stay. Street can be a bit noisy during the late hours.
Not worth the money, but good location.

− Internet did not work. Electricity went on and off. No water for one evening. Bad cell coverage. No offer to clean or empty trash during 5 day stay. Pool is across the street from apartment. Only one roll of toilet paper provided for 5 day stay. No wash clothes or hand towels provided. Only small soap provided and no shampoo. Not worth the money.
