The property is gorgeous, in a great location close to town and restaurants. The pools are very nice and the views from the condo are amazing. Costa azul beach is long and clean. You will see whales right from the poolside. Friendly staff and owners make this property a great stay..

− Review This unit (501) was not clean when we checked in. We had to sweep, wash and clean the entire place before we could enjoy our holiday. Two days before our trip we messaged the owner asking for an early checkin but they never responded, it would have been nice if they replied. Floors had dirt, candy toppers, and foot prints, hand/grease prints on all appliances and cupboards, sliding doors, and shower door. The shower looked dirty inside and grime all over the tap and shower head. There is NO dishwasher in this suite, the dishes in the cupboards were not clean. The pans, pots, pot lids, plates and forks etc had greasy film on them. The stove, fridge and counters were dirty, candy, crumbs and hand prints on outside of appliances and dirty inside. There were no basic condiments (salt, pepper, catchup, tea, coffee etc) so you’ll need to buy everything when checking in. There were small ants all over the kitchen and bathroom counters, we couldn’t get rid of them our trip. The kitchen faucet is wiggly (loose) and the granite backsplash is black and moldy, likely where the ants are coming from. Despite all that, the absolutely worst part about the stay was the “king bed” is TERRIBLE, hard as a rock with divots in it. They’ve put a foam mattress topper on it, but it doesn’t help at all. The worst sleeps I’ve had, that bed needs be replaced. The white sheets on the bed didn’t fit properly. The ceiling fan in the bedroom makes a grinding and clicking noise so it can’t be used while sleeping. The hot water tank is really small, only 1 person can shower before water turns cold. The BBQ propane tank was empty (no spare) when we tried to use it, there was only 1 garbage bag in can, no extras and only 1 roll of paper towels, and 3 rolls of toilet paper for our 10 day stay? We contacted the owner on night 2 telling them the state we found this condo in, asked for propane, paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags.

Quick 2 night trip- surf and eating. Perfect.

Great location on beach! Close to everything but still secluded and tranquil. Would recommend for a couple or small family. Hope to be back!

The fact that is well secured 24 hours a day

− Swimming pools not that clean, required more maintenance, a lot of female hair in the pool, which made me feel gross. In addition, the A/C wasn’t working, causing extreme discomfort because it was super hot inside the condo. Management was notified and provided instructions to set it to cooling temperatures. However, after multiple attempts trying to set the cooling temperature, it still wouldn’t work.

Location was good, nice pools & hot tub, well kept grounds, staff was very nice and helpful. Good location to have a car, secure parking and close to highway turn arounds. Hammock on rear balcony was a nice touch.

− Road noise, but not so bad from bedroom with door closed.

Beautiful property and apartment was just as pictured. Really appreciated the filtered water in the kitchen! Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. On site staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool was clean and many lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The property was quiet and felt very safe. Gym was a good size and had cardio equipment and free weights. There is some traffic noise since the main road is close but that also made Uber pickups super quick. Wonderful place over all.

− We loved the place but had ongoing issues with the door entry keypad. Keypad was touchy & hard to consistently get in. We followed directions but it would take several attempts most of the time. Instructions included waiting 40 seconds after any failed attempts. This was frustrating. Host told us there had not been prior issues & replaced batteries, but it really didn't seem to help. We came to believe the pad itself needs to be replaced. It often took 5-10 minutes to gain entry with wait times, and we got stuck outside of the apartment for over an hour one day.

Fabulous place, if you want to relax for a couple days and chill by pool and nice beach

Great apartment. Loved the space, hosts were super lovely and easy to communicate with. The several pools and hot tubs were wonderful. Very quiet. Was close to beautiful beach.

− Beach way too dangerous to swim (dumping big waves). Very close to highway. Tough to find a nice place nearby for breakfast.
