The host is very nice and accommodating. We booked in an emergency stay on the island, and she accommodated us right away. The property is well maintained and good for family.

Spacious and very clean. Wonderful air conditioning. There are six beds, which was more than enough for our 5 family members. Nice comfortable living room., although the couches did look a little beat up and needed vacuuming in the crevices. Two full size bathrooms - one with a large walk-in tiled shower. Good wifi. The cost was unbeatable. We would have had a hard time affording this trip if we stayed anywhere else. I never met the owner, but she responded to emails and brought us what we needed. The kitchen was adequate for assembling simple breakfasts and lunches. Not conducive to family meal preparation. There was a stove but few useable cooking utensils. We ate all our dinners out. We had a car and 2 motor scooters to get around, since the place is 2-3 miles from the downtown and beaches.

− We would have appreciated a larger refrigerator and a larger microwave. The stove was a waste of valuable space. There is simply not enough room to cook meals and no real place to sit down and eat them. It would be great to take out the stove and put in a full size refrigerator. We had to buy a portable cooler to keep our overflow food and drinks from spoiling. Also, the kitchen utensils, plates, dishes, etc., were pretty grim – made of kind of a beat-up, scratched cheapo plastic. Something a little classier (melamine?) might have been nice. There are about 5 doorways that involve stepping up or down a small level. We were tripping over these and practically falling on our faces, until I took bright masking tape and put it along the top and sides of each little step so we would be sure to see them. About a fourth of the ceiling light bulbs burnt out during our stay, and some of them had been useful to provide light for computer work, etc. Also, the ceiling fan in the smallest bedroom didn’t work (but there was air conditioning, so no big deal.)
