Cozy apartmend in great location
8.0Cozy apartment with a great view over the old harbour. The apartment has everything you need including a well-equipped kitchen and feels very personal. Shops and restaurants are very close, so is the beach.
− The only downside was the insulation of the bedroom windows. When it was windy outside – which happens regularly by the seaside – there was a constant draft through the locked windows.
Best location apartment in Harlingen with all the amenities! We plan to come back!
10.0The location is the best in Harlingen; right at the heart of the harbor and downtown, steps away from the ferry, shops, harbors, restaurants, TI, train & bus station. We loved that we could sit in the living room and watch the activity out the windows, especially the boat traffic through the canals and draw bridges. We saved a lot of money by buying groceries and wine and eating in this apartment because our view was better than any bar/restaurant in town! Janneke, our host was quick to reply with our questions. We found parking 3 minutes walk away for 2.20 Euros/day.
− The only thing to know is that the upstairs bathroom has a wonderful sink, shower and washing machine but no toilet. We did not have children or guests using the bedroom upstairs, but if so, they would have to come down a level to use main floor toilet off of the Master bedroom. Kids would not mind at all though.
