Not a place I would return to. Very affordable place to stay if you just need a bed for the night with low standards and

− The road to get to the property is extremely steep and is a 1 way gravel road. This is not ideal if you have a boat or you don’t have 4 wheel drive. It’s extremely dangerous at night. There is an abandoned property next door that had people driving up and going through the home with flashlights late at night. The home was not clean when we arrived, soiled linens and I’ve never seen so many bugs in my life. Everything we came home with had bugs dead and alive in them. The ac was never lowered under 70 but froze up night one and we had no ac the rest of the trip. All remotes were empty with no batteries, lightbulbs were burnt with no bulbs, exposed electrical wires everywhere. Poison ivy running rampant and the yard looks like it hasn’t seen a yard man in a long time. The host did respond quickly and sent a Maintenance guy out. He was an older man that was very friendly, but would just walk in and linger all day to visit. Not everything was fixed and not everything was addressed before leaving. We were so overwhelmed with the condition and had a baby and elderly grandparents, the place has so much potential but I would recommend this place even to a group of college boys. The place is clearly for parties. There were ping pong balls everywhere under the couch, so many things were loose and broken, there needs to be lights lining the steps going to the water and front porch .
