Lovely room, great location, terrible customer service.
6.0Lovely location, very safe neighbourhood, close to a subway station. Room was bigger than the photos showed, and felt comfortable, if a little basic. Tastefully decorated room and building, and clean.
− The only issue we had was with communicating with Maverick Suites. They wrote to us prior to check-in to ask to pay a deposit (which we have no issue with), but when I was having problems doing so, I emailed to ask for help and never got a reply. Again an issue with communication, we were told to expect to receive access codes to the building and the room 24 hours before arrival (these are in place of keys, which we have no issue with). However, this code came very late, and we were starting to get worried that our booking had been cancelled. Aside from these issues, we've had a lovely stay. The room is basic - things like there's only one very small wardrobe, a tiny table and two bar stools, and no headboard on the bed, but it is decent value for money overall, was nice and clean, and in a good location.
