Weekend at Rosetta
10.01. Peace! 2. The views, farm animals, and the river. We were able to canoe and enjoy the river 3. The 3bedroom (Meadow View) was really amazing. Lounge and dining room table to chill, kitchen with everything you need, braai and campfire area, and a warm shower. Everyday housekeeping came around to reset the entire place: rooms, kitchen, fireplaces, etc 4. The area (Rosetta and Nottingham) was great to explore. We played paddle( R600 for 4ppl: R400 court hire for an hour. R50x4 for paddles) Took a short drive to Rosetta Hotel to get pizza and met friendly locals. 5. We met the owner, who was very friendly, accommodating and hands on.
− Road from the main road to Rosetta fields was a bit rough but is actually the perfect way to get you to slow down before completely slowing down at Rosetta. Wow... It was really a breath of fresh air. Campfire with an amazing view and just enjoying each other's company.

A countryside experience
9.0It was scenic, lovely countryside feel, accessibility to roam free with the animals, neat and clean with helpful, friendly staff. It was extremely cold but electric blankets warmed us up.
− The sandy road leading up to the place was very bad, especially if your vehicle is low. Any other raised vehicle would be good to go. The fireplace... the heat was going up instead of coming in. It took 3 large bags of wood before we could feel the warmth. The bathroom did not have hanging hooks for our clothes. There should be a thicker carpet in the bathroom. The tiles are very cold. The river area needs to be upgraded.
Off-grid Paradise
10.0Property is absolutely gorgeous. Very easy to find. Check in process was super easy. The host is very kind and always available. There’s an assistant on site who helps with offloading bags or making the fireplace . The property is clean . Decor is up to standard with functioning utilities . The view of the ranch is top notch and every morning we had coffee with our cute friends ( horses and Sheep) . Beds are comfortable and the electric blankets and fireplace made our chilly Stay very comfortable . Our big family of 8 absolutely loved this and we will be coming back for more
− The sign from the main road to the property is not Big and visible enough . There’s multiple accommodations in the same pathway , only their Accommodation Signage are clear so it’s easy to miss the off-ramp and get lost . The showers are gas powered so it takes a bit to kick in, so you may get a bit frozen before you enjoy the hot shower .
