Scottburgh always delivers a fantastic family experience!

Location location location. Being on the beach helps a lot (we have been coming to Marilyn Court for more than 20 years now, since we were kids). But this was only a drop in the ocean of what we experienced the week we were there. First, we almost had to cancel the trip because of a medical procedure. The owners were understanding and willing to refund as well as move the dates if need be. We ended up going anyway, though, as the doctor said we should be good to go. On our last day, we experienced a serious complication of the medical procedure and had a big emergency. We ended up rushing to an ER and spending the night in a hospital almost an hour away to ensure our son's safety. The owners were again very understanding and without question willing to extend our checkout time and even extend our stay. This sort of humanity, compassion and care is not seen every day. I would like to again extend my sincerest thanks to the owners for their understanding, willingness to help, compassion and everything they did and were willing to do to make a very tough situation much easier to manage. They come HIGHLY recommended.

− One thing that's always bugged is the noise from the public area on Scottburgh Beach on weekend nights. It's not related to the property though, but perhaps it should be taken up with the municipality. I noticed signs that prohibit drinking, noise, parties and general unruly behaviour but that does not stop the noise on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there. It is not unbearable, but it also cannot be ignored.

Location, comfort, close to destination, friendly hosts. Pleasant flat temperature. Lovely garden surroundings. Walking distance for shopping.

− No shelves/hooks in the bathrooms for personal accessories. Suggest shower curtains (unhygienic) to be replaced with permanent glass installation. No ice trays.

The location and space and the facility. Very apt for what we needed.

− There actually nothing that can think of. Maybe the showed to have a shower door instead of. Curtains.

Everything, the managing and staff was very accommodating. Accommodation was clean, comfortable. We was there only to sleep, coz we was attending a funeral. So didn't take photos or enjoy the breathtaking view or surrounding

− The wifi, that needs to be sorted out.
