Uncomfortable stay without privacy and hefty surchages - stay elsewhere

− There was a communication issue before the stay, because we initially booked for 2 people but planned to stay with 4. We wrote that in the e-mail before but no response. The landlord then charged additional 100€/night extra although booking said it was less per additional person. Would only accept cash. Landlord living right next door (same floor) and is extremely curious. Entered twice the apartment without asking for permission. His brother threatened us that our car will be towed if not moved (although no sign and parking was included according to booking confirmation). The main door is always locked. Big safety issue in case of fire since we only had one key. During our stay, the at least 20 year old toilet seat got a crack and we had to pay for a new one. In the end we were glad to just leave and we put everything in the dishwasher and left since we anyways paid a hefty surcharge. But the landlord still wants to charge 2.5 hours / 100€ for sweeping the kitchen and emptying the dishwasher. If you can, save yourself some trouble and stay elsewhere
