The apartment was central to Holt. Very close to a supermarket nice shops to wander around its great base to explore Norfolk. The property was very clean. Lovely comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. Great walk in shower The sitting area was very spacious for two. Nice welcome touches. Having parking at the property is real bonus arriving early and able to park and after checking out was able to leave the car until we were ready to leave Holt.

Easy to find and very well appointed, high end electrical items. Very nicely laid out and easy walking to town centre.

Location was what i wanted and the lawns spa provided this ...keys was easy to find from the lock box ...place was spotless inside lovley big rmain room..kitchen had all the things i needed for my short stay .. very comfy bed ...loved the power of the walk in shower will definitly be coming back to this place ......super market 2min walk away ....

Great location but with a few improvements needed

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the location was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of Holt town centre, Budgens was nearby for groceries and other essentials, and the free parking next to the property was a real bonus and made coming and going very convenient.

− Unfortunately, our first impression of the apartment wasn’t great. Due to the heatwave, all of the windows had been left open before our arrival, which meant the apartment was full of flies and bees. There was also no air conditioning, only a small fan, so it was difficult to cool the apartment down. Installing insect screens or fly nets on the windows would help keep the apartment ventilated without allowing insects inside. A portable AC unit for the hot summer days would have been a lovely addition, if a proper AC system cannot be installed. The cleanliness also fell below expectations. We noticed spider webs in multiple areas of the apartment, particularly on the ceilings in the bedroom and kitchen. Their extent gave the impression that the property hadn’t been cleaned as thoroughly as we would have expected before our arrival. The apartment also wasn’t as modern as we were expecting from the listing. There were quite a few cracks in the walls that could do with touching up, the windows looked old and worn, and there were areas where rust was visible. While none of these affected the functionality of the stay, they did make the property feel more tired than anticipated. It was also missing some basic essentials that we would normally expect in a self-catering property, such as shampoo, spare bin bags and kitchen roll, which meant we had to buy these ourselves. Overall, the apartment is in a great location and served its purpose, but the poor first impression, lack of attention to cleanliness, tired condition of the property and missing basic amenities meant it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. With a more thorough clean, a few cosmetic updates, insect screens on the windows and better provision of essentials, it would be a much stronger place to stay.

The property was very close to the lovely village. Plenty of choices of eating places. A very clean and homely apartment.

Looking forward to return visit.
