A great base to visit Sorento
9.0This apartment was wonderful, huge balcony at the back where you can escape the sun and a big balcony on the front overlooking Sorento. Its on the top floor so you have 70 odd stairs to climb each day but its well worth it. Two good size bedrooms. Air-con was great to have although we didnt use it much as we were there in October so it wasnt too hot. Great to have a washing machine. Bar across the road did great coffee and yummy pastries. Our host was very helpful and we had no problem accessing the property. You can walk into Sorento in an hour, which we did quite often. The train station at Meta is about a 3min walk from the apartment, a supermarket a 5min walk and the beach a 10min walk from the apartment. You dont need a car here. The property was clean and bright.
− There wasnt anything we didnt like. The tap in the kitchen needs fixing, some clothes pegs (to stop the washing blowing away) would have been good to have and a couple more wine glasses but that would be the only negatives.

10.0− The comment that I would make is that the property is located on the main road going north from Sorrento to Naples - which is busy most of the time. It is only really an issue in getting to the property as there is effectively no footpath for about 50 metres, so you have to walk along the edge of the road. Not an issue for us, but might be for others. Also, not an issue once in the apartment - could hardly hear the traffic and it did not stop us using the wonderful balcony (s).
Beautiful apartment with fantastic outdoor space.
9.0The apartment was very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The views from every window were amazing, even the little bathroom window. There is also plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Giovanna met us at the apartment and was easy to contact with our arrival time. I was a little confused at first as there were no curtains in the twin bedroom, however, I quickly realised that the shutters could be closed to keep out the light in the morning. Meta train station is a few minutes walk away and very handy to get to Sorrento or Naples. Tickets can be bought there and the man in the kiosk was very helpful.
− The apartment is up a few flights of stairs and on a busy road so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, however, this is clear on the listing.
