7.0The location is incredible. A block away from the Colosseum. Easy to walk everywhere. Plenty of little roadside cafes and restaurants right on your doorstep. The staff were also amazingly helpful and responsive. The private courtyard is a lovely bonus.
− Pay attention when booking this property. There are a number of apartments and you’re assigned an available one. The pictures on booking.com aren’t of your actual apartment. Our apartment was fine but it was on street level and the bedroom is on the street side, so nighttime traffic and partygoers walking home felt like it was right next to our bed. These old Roman apartments are quite tiny in ways. The hallways are narrow and the doorways are very low (under 6ft). I’m 6’2 and bumped my head (pretty hard) a couple of times a day. No fault of the hosts, but “heads up”.
