Beautiful location in the small village Ums / Umes in Dolomites
10.0Beautiful location in the village Ums / Umes, which turned out to be a great starting point for exploring the Dolomites by e-bike. The accommodation was very nice, clean and very spacious for two people. In the apartment you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Even basic cooking supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar and much more). Parking is available in a private garage under the accommodation, where we were also able to leave our bikes. The garage is also accessible by elevator. You can enjoy the private terrace next to the bedroom, with a view of the neighbor's chickens (which are more entertaining than the television) or the balcony next to the kitchen with a view of the neighboring mountains. We were also happy that there was a washing machine in the apartment, which we used to wash our cycling clothes. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the owner, Mrs. Judith, who explained everything we were interested in. We also took advantage of the possibility to ordering bread daily, which was delivered to our garage entrance every morning. When you book an apartment in the Dolomites, you also get a bus ticket for the duration of your stay, which we used to visit a nearby town. Compared to the crowds in the more crowded tourist towns in the Dolomites, this slightly more remote accommodation turned out to be an excellent choice. Very satisfied and we recommend it.
