Great few days in Alvor!
9.0Quick and easy to collect the keys - we were lucky the property was ready early so we could go straight in. The property had everything we needed and more - ironically we felt like we didn't really make full use of it. There were umbrellas for the beach, towels for the pool provided, a comfy sofa area and dining room table as well as outdoor dining area. It was lovely - we wish we could have stayed longer! I loved that they clearly keep things in the apartment e.g. from previous guests if they hadn't finished salt/pepper/washing tablets etc - it makes it so much easier for everyone coming in not to have to buy full packets of everything for short stays!
− We were handed about 10 pieces of paper for information, which seems a bit unnecessary in this day in age. It's great to be prepared and provided lots of info but you'd think this could be reduced down if it's for every single guest arriving. The facilities in the apartment were all clean and tidy but seemed very dated in terms of decor - the bed spread/matching curtains and pillows all seemed like they could do with a refresh! Only downside for us is we were a 2 and have been to Alvor for years now, we wish we could have had a slightly smaller apartment in the complex/paid for 2 of us but it looks like they only have large apartments.
