Location, cleanliness, tasteful furnishings, equipped to a very high standard

− Only bin on kitchen - shoudl be bin in bathroom and wastpaper baskets on bedrooms Access gate very narrow so trek to unpack car from spot on opposite side of road. Access stair very steep and uneven, slipperyy when wet so very hard for 2 people with arthritis to navigate, especially with a young puppy and suitcases etc.

Great views, sadly poor accommodation layout made it difficult to shower.

The location was stunning, views were amazing, centrally located to visit many places on our list.

− The shower room was tiny, the basin was minuscule, and just not big enough for adults to use effectively. The kitchen was badly laid out, many of the cupboards as well as the microwave were difficult to access. The wee table and chairs were very tight to sit around. There was no kitchen cleaner to wipe down benches. The cooker hood was thick with dirt. The sofas were not comfortable at all.

Fabulous . Welcoming , relaxing , clean warm comfortable and just the most fantastic views from living room and bedroom

Kames is a dreamy waterside village with all needed for a vacation and Findhorn fits the location.

The shorefront location was excellent with great unobstructed views over the water towards Bute from the front rooms. The property was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking any type of meal, in addition to which it was a pleasant space to spend time in. The living room was spacious with ample seating with a large TV. The back garden made it possible to let the dog stretch it's legs and overall the property was fully enclosed by fencing.

− It was not possible to bring the car up close to the back entrance for the upper apartment due to the entrance gate being too narrow to bring the car into the property. The ample reserved parking across the road notwithstanding, it was onerous to carry suitcases, kitchen provisions, dog bedding and odds and ends for a stay of several days across the road, up the driveway and up the steep and narrow back steps in the rain. I was blowing by the time I had moved in and fuming by the time I had packed up by the end of my stay. Elderly people would struggle.

Handy for Tighnabrauich and portavadie. Was clean and comfy with great views. Near the pub too!
