I enjoyed staying at the property. The property was well presented and furnished inside to a really good standard. I got "cottage" vibes from staying there, which was a very welcome atmosphere! The kitchen especially was cozy and I liked the rustic feel. Lots of little touches added by the owner were a really nice gesture, especially the kit-kats and some thoughtful simple groceries like milk and orange juice in the fridge. This definitely made my stay more enjoyable! It's a very comfortable place to stay and very inviting. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfy and plenty of pillows too! The property is situated in an ideal location for amenities as everything is within a mile or so away with several supermarkets round the corner and a retail park. Leigh is not very far away both by your or public transport and naturally all the necessary links and in and around Manchester from there. There's also an amazing park and nature reserve not that far away which I discovered called Pennington Flash which I highly recommend and miles of canal footpaths for nature lovers!

− The house is small and the walls were very thin so I could hear the next door neighbour (and I'm guessing they could hear me too!). Privacy wasn't a massive issue for me but I was a solo traveler so it was differently for me personally. It would be a concern if I was a family or group staying here as the build of the property (and the terrace itself) meant very thin walls and likely means broadcasting everything you do if you're not super quiet which may be a problem for others. Was a little annoying that they (next door neighbours) would play instruments at random times sometimes early in the morning and sporadically for a few minutes before randomly playing again. Strange noises coming from above the main bedroom at night too, weird creaking/movement sounds but this could have been the heating. I was also disappointed by the cleanliness. The bathroom wasn't very clean when I arrived and looked like it had been given a very quick once-over without really paying attention which could have been prevented, especially missing out the toilet which is where a lot of people look! The immediate area was also substantially deprived and I wouldn't recommend hanging around in the immediate vicinity unless you have a specific purpose to be there.

A lovely cosy house with a great host. Would definitely stay there again. Really handy post office and Spar just around the corner with major supermarkets just a few minutes away.

We loved the house, there you felt like living there. Lovely neighbourhood and with an amazing green park next door. Andrea the host is also charming and gave us a warm welcome with some breakfast groceries.

− Some things were a bit dirty but it’s understandable because dome other guest just leaved and she did her best. Also if you are a smoker you have to go to the backyard, something hard with the english weather hahaha
