5.0− We stayed in suite #1. It was VERY loud the entire stay. We could hear conversations in the lobby, the piano and every single footstep. We got so use to the lady that checked us in footsteps, that we knew when her shift started the next day. Something should definitely be done about that.
Good space, but major safety concern and maintenance/housekeeping issues.
6.0The room itself was nice and a good amount of space. We liked the beds and pillows, as well as the toiletries. The decor was also nice.
− There were a number of things that could have improved. 1. The code I received for check in didn’t work because it said to do code and then star rather than code then pound. 2. The room was underground. This did not bother me so much but I definitely felt misled with a room called “Garden suite”. I also know people who would have been very uncomfortable with this. Just felt misled on this. 3. Freezer was very gross and had left over food spills. There were a number of drawers that had things left behind by other guests or housekeeping (receipts, postcards with notes, old popsicles, etc.) not a huge deal but when paying over 200 a night, I expect it to be cleaner. 4. The barn door in the 2nd bedroom for the closet was broken. 5. The sound machine in one of the bedrooms was broken and didn’t have the part of the cord that gets plugged into the wall. 6. Most importantly, there was no safety lock on the door that exits into the hallway from the bedroom. I was traveling with my husband so I felt okay, but had it been just me and the kids, I would not have felt safe and would have been upset. I think this is the thing that needs to be addressed most urgently.
