Waste of time… lots of stress… take away from bookings!!!

Nice view and swimming pool

− On arrival we were met by the host at the local shop as google maps does not work to get there. Then we were driving by very poor area and in one moment I was thinking that we were crossing by someone’s garden. The host told us to switch off the air con and hot water when we go away. Then we have been told off not to park by our apartment in the shadow but on the car park in full sun even if there was nobody else and simply wanted to cool down the car before going shopping. Then my wife was told off not to touch settings of hammock as it has to stay as it is even if my 12 yrs old daughter couldn’t use as she was touching the ground. We had frog in the toilet and no water in the evening. Also they could clean the pipes under the sink as it was very smelly there. Air con unit is too small to manage the temperature in the apartment. In the bedrooms is no air con but old fashion fans making descriptions on booking not correct. This is not air conditioning apartment. Owner did not agree for the air con to work when we were away so after going for the dinner first evening he came to switch off the air con. Apartment was habitable only after few hrs before too small air con unit managed to decrease the temperature so we end up sleeping on the sofa. Next day we went to speak to the owner who lives on site and conversation went very badly. He told us to get lost if we don’t like it and when my wife asked what about money paid for 2 weeks his wife jump on her with both hands 1 inch from my wife’s face making strange sounds at the same time. Never experience something like that from people working in leisure industry. That was a trigger to start packing after 1 night. Booking involved. New location and much better holiday found.

Very nice house on top of a hill with great view over the coastline of Gouvia. The spacious two bedroom apartment on the groundfloor was perfect for our group and we had a lovely stay. The apartment was modern and clean. For us, the small kitchen was fine because we went out for dinner. The pool and garden were great. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. To stay here, you need a car since it is located in the hills at a 10 min drive from Gouvia. If you look for relaxing holidays in a quiet place, this apartment is for you.

− Beach towels would be great.

We had a fantastic stay in Heaven Hills Villa! It exceeds all expectations. The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. The swimming pool was also clean and we had a beautiful view from the terras. The place is so peaceful and calm. Away from noisy tourist places. The owner and his wife were always very helpful and kind. All together this gave a special experience in Corfu that we won't forget!
