Great location and walkable to most anything. We liked the old feel with newer amenities.

− Kinda tough to get in on the first trip so be sure to read the entire guidebook especially once you are there. I read ahead of time but had to visit again and follow like a roadmap. Once in its a breeze!!

it was convenient to Duke University hospital.

− It was difficult to get into….we had to go through 2 locked doors and a courtyard to get to our loft..Within an hour of arrival one bed collapsed from just sitting on it. I had to contact the host to have it looked at….they came and removed the other three legs on the bed platform leaving us to sleep on the floor. The second bed’s platform legs were also bent, ready to give way. The second night we returned to the loft and were locked out. We called the emergency number listed beside the door and after a very frustrating conversation with them we were still locked out. I finally contacted the host, again, and they remotely unlocked our door and reset the door code. This was after 30 mins of standing in the hallway after being at the hospital all day. The bathroom floor was rotted in places around the shower and toilet. The toilet ran constantly. Although, in the advertising it was blatantly clear in multiple places that smoking was not allowed, we smelled smoke/marijuana multiple time in our loft and in courtyards passing through. For the amount of money spent on only 2 nights I would have expected much, much better. We were very disappointed and will definitely not be staying here again.
