10.0Idyllic location, very well-appointed, the most beautiful garden, chickens and rabbits in the neighbouring field! Great to have a croquet lawn and the pool table for the evenings. Nick was a charming host.

A quirky farmhouse in a peaceful setting
10.0This farmhouse is in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, with views across the fields. The décor inside is very quirky, which gives it a lot of character. The beds were comfortable and the bedding top quality. We loved the fact that when we arrived on a wet afternoon, after a disrupted journey, the log burner was already lit and the lounge lovely and cozy. We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of recently-published magazines and thoroughly enjoyed making use of the pool table. The owner, Nick, who lives in an adjoined section of the farmhouse, is a good source of tips about local pubs, and we had a lovely Sunday Roast at a pub he recommended. Thank you Nick!
