A peaceful Grecian sanctuary a stones throw from central Bristol.
9.0George was a fantastic host all round. Really communicative and responsive. There was a lovely welcome basket of treats on arrival and the place was spotless. The space is really thoughtfully done with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival, great quality bedding and PROPER PILLOWS! There was a large fan too which was marvellous given the current heatwave. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to fellow travellers.
− The wifi was a little dodgy every now and again, but it was minimal.
Great place at a great price, worthy of a recommendation.
10.0Lovely place as described, great facilities. Good communication and would definitely stay again if in area. Many thanks

A delightful apartment in Bristol
10.0Beautiful apartment lovingly decorated and fitted with everything you need for a Bristol stay. George clearly has an eye for beauty and function.
− The bed was a bit squeaky.
Wonderful stay
10.0My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at George's beautiful studio flat. So much care and thought has gone into creating this lovely place. We really loved the decor, especially the turquoise theme! The bed was super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole flat felt calm, cosy, and welcoming - a perfect place to rest our heads. We also had the pleasure of meeting George before we headed out, and she was so lovely and welcoming. We'd love to stay here again! P.S. We really appreciated the lovely biccies in the morning - thank you!
− Nothing to improve - everything was perfect!
Perfect stay
9.0Spotlessly clean, good space and facilities, charming host, good communication. Local information. Free street parking nearby. We didn't make the most of it as we were late arriving (10pm) but Studio Tavros perfectly fulfilled what we needed for one night.
Lovely apartment, short distance from a range of restaurants and shop.
10.0Easy access with the key safe. The arrival information was very detailed, including photos of where to find the key safe and which door to use. This is a split level apartment, downstairs a washing machine and a TV room / study. There was a good collection of DVDs (naturally a little dated) including a few I'd not seen and some classic movies. Comfortable sofa. Upstairs a small but effective kitchen (washing up liquid under the sink), including a microwave (no oven) and fancy coffee pod machine. Iron and ironing board in a small cupboard. The bed in the kitchen / bedroom area was comfortable (I'm not sure of the mattress was a pocket spring one, but it was perfectly fine). Effective bathroom. This was during the 30-odd degree heatwave. There was an effective tower fan upstairs, but leaving the window open in the kitchen and bathroom, with the door to the bathroom open allowed a cooling breeze through, while the wooden shutters allowed the air while shielding some of the morning light. Light traffic area and I was able to park immediately outside the house. The place overall looks like new. The price was very reasonable. 2 pubs a little way along the road, and abut 4 minutes away a parade of shops including co-op and a nice Italian (Al Fresco) while I had pizza (good, but for my waistline i should have gone for the fish or Caesar salad). In the other direction is Westbury on Trym high street - I didn't head that way but I guess no more than 10 minutes walk. Thursday is recycling day, so I dropped some bits in the recycling outside - I didn't see any instruction about it in the house. Nice little book for the local area, directions to Westbury etc. I also bumped into the host who was very pleasant, and mentioned the seating on the patio in the front was available for use.
− Really can't think of anything. Great job.
