9.0The cottage (Voerstal) is very private and peaceful with views over the vineyards towards the mountains. I think the firepit will be a lovely place for conversation and chilling.

− We were under the impression we had a lapa in front of the house for a braai. The pictures on Booking.com can cause misinterpretation as we did not realise there is more than a unit to rent.

9.0This delightful little rural farm cottage is situated against the mountain, looking out onto vineyards. It is at the start of Meiringspoort. The cottate is clean, neat, calm and comfortable. I would love to spend a week there. It has a good braai area out at the back and all the amenities you need to have a very comfortable stay. The beds are comfy too. Our host kindly left us a complementary bottle of their own wine. It was good. I would recommend booking this and would like to return some day.
