10.0We have just returned home from a 2 day stay at Buckton Cottage and WOW it is AMAZING we did not want to leave. It is absolutely SPOTLESS. We don't normally stay in properties that allow dogs because of dog hairs but this place is SPOTLESS !! The cottage is beautiful and much bigger than in the photos.The owners Angela & Bob (who are some of the nicest hosts that we have met) have thought of everything including dressing gowns and slippers few toiletries, hair dryer just to mention a few things ! Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts too. There is a washing machine & drier in the courtyard to share if needed. The bedroom is very spacious with comfy big bed plenty of storage and lovely linens, the bathroom is nice and big with a nice powerful rain shower over the bath & lovely towels. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, air fryer, fridge with top icebox and lots of other things ! We stayed in April and it was toasty warm inside the cottage.The views from the sun trap patio are beautiful and the garden is incredible with lots of hidden seating places and at night time it all looks magical lit up. Parking is off road and safe at the side of the two cottages. We never heard a peep from the guests that were staying next door to us which is also very good.We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in this area! We even got to meet Noodle the pet tortoise who was so cute and the hens who gave us some delicious eggs during our stay. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your little gem of a cottage.
