It could have been nice, but the poor managment....

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The location was very convinient, the beach was at walking distance and the town center was also very close, with all the shops and restaurants just few steps away.

− It was sooo noisy! The railtracks were just few meters away, with passangers and freight trains passing by at every hour of the day and the night. Plus one of the main passage roads was also there, with cars and motos going by constantly. Since there was no air contioning, one would have like to keep the windows open to let air move through the apartment, but then the noise was constant. Additional to this, while we stayed there, there were renovations works on the roof, all the building was encapsulated by scaffoldings, we could not properly open windows and the balcony was not usable. Every time a window was open, all the debrids from the construction flew inside the apartment. People walking outside the windows, hammering on top of our heads, all such. When we complained, the owner was totally uninterested in finding a solution ("you are free to leave, if you wish", she said), regardless of us having paid full high-season price for it. At this day and age, installing air con is a very minor and fast job, once they realised the renovation works were to take place in the peak of summer, they should definetely have done it, at the very least. We found this highly unprofessional and unfair. The apartment was also on the third floor, with no lift. Quite OK for us, but unsuitable with anybody with problems with lots of stairs. This should have been mentioned beforehand (as the works should have!). Finally, there was definetely no sea view, unlike stated in the apartment description.
