Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einem gemütlichen Cottage mit großartiger Gastgeberin
10.0In dem kleinen Cottage ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es ist sehr gemütlich und der Platz war für mich mehr als ausreichend. Sally ist eine unglaublich aufmerksame und großzügige Gastgeberin- als Willkommensgruß hatte sie Brot, Kuchen sowie im Kühlschrank Eier und Milch bereitgestellt. Auf dem Tisch standen frische Blumen. Ich bin denke ich noch nie so großartig begrüßt worden wie von Sally! Sie war stets gut erreichbar, gab mir viele Tipps zum Wandern in der Umgebung. Da die Heizung nur morgens und abends ansprang, stellte sie mir ein portables Heizgerät in den Raum, wofür ich sehr dankbar war. Die Lage in Porlock ist perfekt - man wohnt sehr zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig- ich habe immer wunderbar geschlafen! Vielen lieben Dank für diese tolle Zeit bei dir, Sally!
Chilled Break in Lovely Village
10.0Fabulous little studio in the heart of the village, lovely host who lives next door, very clean and modern, lovely welcome pack on arrival, great base for hiking, loads to explore locally and pet friendly.
− Would have liked a small sofa rather than 2 chairs but this is personal preference only.

10.0Lovely comfortable stay. Accommodation had everything we needed and location was perfect for exploring Porlock village and surroundings . Extremely peaceful which was a surprise, being so close to the shops. Appreciated the provisions, especially the cakes and bread.
− Couldn’t locate a thermostat for the heating although I’m sure, if we’d needed to, we could have contacted the lovely host to adjust.
A wonderful host and lovely accommodation
10.0I really want to tell everyone how awful it is, so that it won't get booked up and we can stay whenever we like....but I'll do the right thing. Sally is an amazing host. A really lovely lady, who made us feel welcome from the start and nothing was too much trouble. We had a little welcome pack, which consisted of eggs, milk, muffins and some of the nicest bread I've ever had. Despite being very small, the studio doesn't actually feel small at all. It's really cosy, nicely decorated and just has a lovely feeling to it. The location is perfect. Smack bang in the middle of Porlock, yet just nicely tucked away. It was incredibly peaceful. Other points to note: comfy bed, spotlessly clean, spacious shower cubicle, lovely smelling linen (forgot to ask what washing stuff she uses), nice little garden area, parking space within easy distance, well equipped kitchen.
