The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The couches were very comfortable, and the view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The views were lovely and the size of the place was incredible.

− I think the place could have been kitted out better, specifically the kitchen there were a few items that were not there that you'd expect, and the one bed had a dip in the middle that made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Other than that it was great. Remember to take EVERYTHING with you for the kitchen. The only items they had was coffee and tea.

The house is beautifully positioned with wonderful views across the bay, the house was very well appointed and in summer it would be a wonderful place to spend a weekend or a week. Our problem was one of bad luck . We hit the worst storm in who knows how many years .

− We didn't much like the storm but the problem was that the rain and wind exposed some pretty nasty leaks . The one bedroom was very wet from leaky windows and there was a drip right over the bed . The second bedroom was largely dry except for the open plan bathroom which was sodden and required buckets to catch all the drips. The roof was busy parting company with some of its roof sheets and clattered in the wind for the duration. To top it all we lost power on arrival and it remained off for the duration of our stay. In many respects this was unpredictable but some serious maintenance is required . All this being said the property was generously appointed and will be a wonderful stay when all has been fixed. To be fair the owners would probably not have known of the hidden leaks without the help of the storm. Would we return , absolutely yes, the views are magnificent and I'm sure when all is repaired , which I'm sure it will be, the property is a peach and well worth a stay. Apologies for the rather disparate scores/remarks because the potential is there but I wasn't quite sure how to convey a miserable couple of days without telling the full story. Don't let it put anyone off, it will be great.

The flow of living in the house. Beautiful stoep area and definitely an entertainer's dream.

− The salt bottle was empty. No "braai bak" for meat coming from the fire. There was only one large ceramic bowl with a lid. One cannot keep that on next to the fire to keep the meat warm while other food is being grilled. A book out time of 10h00 on a Sunday is very early. Surely on a weekend, not in holiday time, book out time can be made to be 14h00?
