The location was excellent for our needs

Lovely room to stay in short term for 1 or 2 people, would definitely stay again and seemed reasonably priced too.

Really comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay

− The outside light wouldn’t switch off, so gas to have it on constantly. Black out curtains would have be better than the blinds.

£35 upfront cleaning charge for a place that was clearly not cleaned.

The bed was comfortable although the mattress was small for the bed frame so easy to bang your leg on

− Having to pay £35 for your stay for cleaning was a bit of a joke as the place clearly had not been cleaned. There was fresh bedding but the towels were bleached stained. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned under the seat or on the porcelain top, luckily l always carry cleaning wipes so was able to clean it before we used it. Thick dust on the skirting boards and on the extractor fan. Cups in the cupboard were stained or just put away dirty. The shower was dirty and so was the sink, crumbs of food in the fridge which was also not cleaned. It’s a shame because the property was quite a cute building but very drab and dirty. A good clean and some fresh paint would make it a lovely place to stay as the location was good. I did message the owner but didn’t get a reply unfortunately.
