Pleasant stay in the Tara National Park
8.0Very good location, close to the trail that leads you to Banjska Stena, fairly close to Zaovine Lake
− The apartment doesn't offer towels or shower gel/shampoo. There are no instructions on how to turn the heating on (I figured it out and the heating works well) or that you need to plug the extension cord for the fridge to work. The boiler switch next to the bathroom light switch could be labeled. The kitchen tap needs repairing - its base is not properly attached. Other than that, it's very important to refuel your car before entering the Tara National Park - the nearest petrol station is about 22 km from this accomodation. There is a local shop, a restaurant, and a café in Mitrovac - about 5 mins by car from the accomodation. Also, be mindful while driving as deers cross the roads frequently (as the road signs warn) and you need to pay a park toll at the entrance for the number of days you're going to stay with your vehicle in the park. Finally, the payment is taken by cash so you need to prepare the money in advance before coming to the park as I'm not sure there are any ATMs easily accessible.
