Nice stay overshadowed by host’s attitude
8.0We stayed here for the second year in a row and Studio Inna was just as shown in the photos. The terrace offers a lovely view of Rijeka Bay. The studio is simple but comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy and we appreciated that dogs are welcome (with extra fee).
− We were not satisfied with the host’s attitude regarding our dog. Upon arrival, we immediately informed Mrs. Melissa that we had a small dog, as we already knew from last year that there is an extra fee. On the third day, however, the owner sent us a rather unpleasant message claiming that we had not reported the dog and stating a fee of €50 (100% higher than last year). After we extended our stay for two more days, we received another message introducing new rules for dogs: the fee would be €70, and a penalty of €120 if a pet is not reported. We also did not receive the promised parking space (for an extra charge). During five out of nine days one spot was free, but we still had to park around the neighborhood in unofficial places. After extending our stay, the host informed us that studio apartments are not entitled to parking at all – another new rule that had not been mentioned before. Overall, the host’s approach left us with an experience significantly below expectations.
