Luxury Travel Emporium HG1 - 2 Luxury apartments with Parking Space - in town centre♡

A property with potential but its not maintained so its damp, dark, mouldy, dirty and falling apart.

Location good, Air BnB so no breakfast provided, but also no utensils to make food. 1 teaspoon, 3 mugs, 2 pint glasses, 3 plates for 5 of us. The house could take 6. I took food for breakfasts but we ended up having to go out for morning tea, coffee and breakfast and then did not watch the England game as planned in the property as not enough glasses for beer.

− Where do I start. There was not enough basic items like mugs, spoons, plates, glasses for 5 people. When I asked about this they apologised and said they had been 'requisitioned',but not there yet. They never arrived in our 3 day stay. Surely easy to go out and buy. The place was mouldy, the ceiling above the shower disgusting, but also around window frames. The shower was falling apart and had the hand held in the main bathroom was no longer, just the chord with no actual shower attached. The ensuite was a bath but neither the hand held worked and the plug would not hold down so you had to sit in the bath with the two taps on and throw water at yourself. Pretty sure the bathmats hadn't been cleaned for some time. Three of the bedrooms are in the basement and it smelled mouldy. Everything looks on the surface lovely but once adjusting your eyes in the very dark light (not good lighting, no where to put make up on), it is all falling apart and filthy and really needing maintenance. The parking area at the back is disgusting, a broken toilet, a broken storage box, litter everywhere. I could go on..... but lastly to say it advertises allowing dogs. I booked 2 months previous to our stay and double checked at that time I could bring my dog. No response until the night before when I was already in the area with dog in tow and got a message saying I must never leave my dog in the flat unless I was with her. If they had said this when I sent the message I would have booked somewhere else at it was too hot for her to stay in the car and as this was a business trip (having had a week holiday on the way to Harrogate) I was entertaining in restaurants in the evenings which left me in a very difficult position. I have never had another establishment that allows pets in all the years i have travelled with a dog make this stipulation.... especially at last minute.

The convenient location and flat amenities

− Access to parking was incredibly tight for a large car - parked in station car park

This property was in a great location. It was very spacious everything what we needed.

− Nothing to not like.

Not somewhere I’d recommend to stay unless you don’t mind noise dirt or smells

Location being central to Harrogate however backing onto the train platform it’s very noisy

− It was dirty, access wasn’t straight forward and the smell was foul

The apartment was comfortable, the beds were very spacious with great quality bedding and pillows. The location was perfect for getting into town.
