Simply amazing for those looking for real town community life experience
10.0We loved our stay in the Tertenia flat hosted by Elisabetta! The flat featured two spacious bedrooms and a combined living and dining kitchen area. Each room was equipped with air conditioning, and all windows had shutters to block out direct sunlight and outside noise. The location was perfect for us; the flat was situated in the heart of the town, making it ideal for anyone wanting to experience authentic local life. The town was lively and vibrant, with the local community playing a significant role in daily life and culture, rather than being predominantly influenced by tourists. Those seeking a quieter atmosphere might find it a little too busy, but we appreciated the immersion in the local community. Elisabetta was a brilliant host, providing us with tons of helpful information on places, beaches, shops, and restaurants to keep us entertained. We tried many beaches and agreed that Foxi Manna was the best for us; it was only a 15-minute drive away. The beach has fine-grain sand, a safe shoreline for little kids to splash, and small rocks to climb. With Riposo commencing from 1 PM until 5-6 PM, we adapted our daily routine accordingly. Every morning, we visited the local beach and returned by 1 PM, just in time to buy some pastries from Paul's patisserie. Although it is stated that parking is not provided, there was plenty of parking on the street adjacent to the main road. Please bear in mind that parking in spaces marked with time limits—30 or 60 minutes—is not allowed, even for a minute, unless you have a special badge. Avoid those spaces, or you risk getting a fine.
